Living Off the Grid in Texas
Casey and I are planning a big move to Texas, where Casey owns five acres on the Terlingua Ranch in the Chihuahua Desert, near Big Bend National Park. As a pair of 21-year-old college students, we naturally have very limited financial resources, and so have resolved to use our combined ecological knowledge along with Casey's remarkable manual skills to build a small, self-sufficient homestead among the rattlesnakes and prickly pear.
